3D Printing Lab: 3D Scanning with Joe Carr

This event is intended for grade 6 - adult

Learn about 3D printing and get some hands-on time with one of our Printrbot 3D printers.

This week, experienced 3D printer Joe Carr discusses how to scan a 3D object to create a 3D model suitable for printing.

No prior experience is necessary.

PE-Nut (Physical Education and Nutrition) is a program that uses a holistic approach to motivate kids, parents, and families to be physically active and eat healthier.

Join us for this fun session involving games, crafts, and activities to learn about nutrition and healthy eating choices. This program is facilitated by and in partnership with the National Kidney Foundation and is intended for grades K-5.

Sewing Lab with Amber Adams-Fall

Learn how to sew an adorable hedgehog and some acorn accessories with the help of local expert, Amber Adams-Fall!

Amber will demonstrate how to create a cuddly hedgehog, and will be available to help you through the process.

Keegan C. Rodgers, Head Baker at the People's Food Co-Op, leads this hands-on and lively workshop.

In this class, students will learn about a variety of frostings and how to make them. Students will learn about pastry bags, piping tips, and other basic decorating equipment. A basic American buttercream will be made in class and used to practice using a piping bag and tips.
